ahhh, i love it! i have a dump manifold yes. and it is only for front and back, what kinda "rodder" wants to dump sides? let the lowrider boys worry about that ****! and juice is for that. im sorry that you cant get line and fitting any cheaper, maybe next time you could call me and i could get em for you!:D nothing in my system is used. half a system? i have a front switch and a back switch what else could i ask for? sides? we went over that.
and as for you guys that have opinions on ch***is tech thats fine, but what you dont know is their bags ARE PRODUCED BY FIRESTONE and they make everything in-house, not china!..lol... anyone who lives in AZ that has been to their facility knows , they do it all in house, from fabricating to powdercoating to anodizing. its all there. granted they dont make their fittings im sure, they probably buy them from major suppliers as all companies do.
again, it all falls back to installation. if you install it like ****, it wont matter if it was made by god himself, it will still be ****!
At my shop we use ch***is tech-air ride tech-and a couple others, and a few others. i was simply commenting on the less expensive and same quality for the guy who started this thread. keyword being HELPING, not *****ing and complaining like some others who probably dont have alot of experience in this topic, and are only commenting on their one or two installs they have done, or based on their friends mistakes.
    my .02 cents

Kwote:If I could do it again on my Rambler, I'd have custom springs wound. You can get plenty low that way and still have a good ride. Cheaper and less headaches too
Tony, where can I get custom front springs wound for my Rambler? Don

If you used correct terminology, a dump manifold would be the manifold to DUMP the air, not fill and dump. That would be a manifold valve

And one or two installs no. I have done well over 40 myself, and over 100 I have helped on. Crash Customs, Milwaukee Wi. Thats what I do. My opinion of ch***is tech is just that, an opinion. Everything they make is CHEAP. The only valid argument you hold is YES they sell firestone bags, big deal. Can get those anywhere. Their valves leak, their link systems are all CHEAP, horrible welds, and dont hold worth a damn. Very VERY poor engineering on all of their custom made link sets. Their brackets are the same as anyone elses, only on half of them the welds are compareable to that of a 1st time welder. NOT GOOD. Not to mention their customer service is ****, they dont warentee ANYTHING they promise too, and the WORST part about it is that ALL of their products they make ' in house ' are RIP OFFS of other companys products. They buy up everything others make, cheap it down and resell it with their name on it, same product, only with cheaper parts or LESS engineering into the product to allow it to be produced and sold for less then the compe***ion. The proof is in the pudding, I wish I had the time to list all my product comparisons but I dont, that and my scanner works for hell. Next time your in Milwaukee, stop by the shop and I'll show you what I have come up with.

    ALSO

What about shock relocation??? Do you run shocks? What kind? Why was that not included in the price? Shocks ARE a part of the suspension system, wether you want to believe so or not.

pork, you seem a little upset? i dont know why,...we are all here to teach AND TO LEARN.

I must admit, i do not have shocks in my truck. but with the sway bar in the front it doesnt lean hard like it would without shocks, and its rides like a dream. shocks arent a big deal 19.99 each at the local parts store. so then i will give you that one 1000. plus 80 bucks round it up to 1100 with tax...lol.... point still remains.

and remeber, the guy who posted this thread originally is using a different car, he will save 300 bucks right off the top of my pricing by not needing a 4 link! so he's back to 800! touche' mo fo!:D

Hollywud, Have you installed the kit on your ride yet?... I noticed in your profile that you had a 63 Buick. I checked out their website and looks like pretty decent stuff. If you have gotten your set up and have installed it, let me know what you think of it. I'd be very interested to know the quality and the ease of bracket fitment.

Im currently helping out a friend with sorting a ****ty install of bags. The valves they used are diaphram type. In theory poppet valves should have been used as these have a positive shut off. My question is, is it normal practise to use diaphram valves and is this what is normally supplied with a kit???
