Can a Walker radiator be shortened?

As part of a deal for helping a friend build a car, I got a nice Walker radiator for a 30-31 Model A. I'm building a '28 roadster, which unfortunately has a slightly shorter radiator. Can the Walker be shortened, and is it even worth it?

    Thanks.

  2. I'm sure an old time radiator shop can do the job. With the number of 30-31 Model A Fords being built right now you could most likely sell what you have and buy new for less than the cost of a rework.

28-29 radiators are not just shorter but wider too than 30-31s.
