I've Got This Tack That Will Not Work. I've Put It On A Point System And It's A No Go But It Will Not Stop The Motor From Running. On The Back Of This Tack It Has Marking For Battery + & Grd And A Letter (1) I Think?. Dose This Tack Take A Extra Unit To Makes It Work?. I Have Not Yet Try ed It On Any HEI System Yet. Thank You For Any And All Help That You Might Be Able To Give Me.

Carkiller probably has the answer. Also if it won't work on a point system it won't work on HEI. The other thing is, do you know if it works or is it junk?

you must have wire from tach. to the distributor side of coil. thats were it gets its signal. if it has a switch make sure its set on correct number of cyclinders for engine.
