At least what is there is in ok nick! while there's not much there....

It's not my cuppa tea, but It has a history, if you were into those cars/that era of drag racing why not?

There's not nearly as much tin over here, so there's a lot of really ambitious projects undertaken, that wouldn't be much better than that!

It's not being sold as a 'factory' lightweight. As has been said, it was a used '63 converted to a race car in '66. That type of thing has been done a thousand times over, and doesn't mean a thing. Unless a big name drove it and won some national events, it ain't worth any more than s****.

If it made any difference, the VIN may be stamped on the lip around where the trunk seal is attached. It's that way on a '68, but the pre-67 cars had different VIN attachment requirements (e.g. main VIN tag is on the cowl by door hinges, not on dash top).

"low buck entry" are you crazy? And you wonder why there are tens of thousands of unfinished projects in dreamers garages. There is nothing there to start with and it would cost a fortune to restore that car. Low buck would be to find a decent car and do some minor work to it, not spend 10,000 hours and a small country's gross national product to restore that pile of garbage.

My vote is yard art or sent it on a slow boat to China.

  4. Depending on how much do***ented history he has of the car, I would stick it in my backyard for $100. I want to have its complete history though...
