Possibly late 50s Chrysler Imperial quads. If not there were 2 lamp stands being made in the 60s that would take Arrows, Dietz or other aftermarket hotrod lights.
Thanks, there is actually a Chrysler Imperial badge attached to the plexigl*** windshield . Which I thought was odd, but now I am thinking it may have been the donar car for the 392 engine as well. This is the best picture I have and the only one of the head lights. Do you have any pics of the headlight stand?
Those Imperial quads weren't used until 1961, and Imperial had stopped offering Hemi engines by then, so the engine and the headlights were not from the same source. The headlights in the pics don't appear to have the Imperial fluted headlight rings on them either, they look more like spotlight housings to me.
Not from an Imperial. They had heavy rims with way more detail than the ones in the photo. Looks more like simple aftermarket units on one of those cast aluminum brackets that places like Honest Charlie and Speedway sold.
I wondered if one set could have been 32 cowl lights? This is a picture of 58 Imperial *The engine is a 57.
I agree on the Sun tach, and I also think the lights are probably regular 5 inchers on the old Moon or Offy dual-necked aluminum stands.
Didn't Barris do a 32 with similar quad headlights? Or maybe the metalic green 27 highboy. Man, gettin old ****s.
Here's some on a car, although they look a little ****eyed. By the way, check out what he used for paint.
34B, although it's kind of hard to tell with that loose shirt on. Or did you mean the headlights on the car?
