Customs Can anyone ID these hubcaps?

    Like some already said, they called them "full moons" in the 60s era catalogs. There were a few variations. They do show up on ebay from time to time. 16 inch versions are harder to find. Most of the ones on ebay will need rechroming and often some dent removal work too.
    If you look at the places selling the single bar flipper caps, the wheelcovers the flipper is mounted on is pretty much the full moon (with two small holes drilled in it to mount the flipper bar). The ones I saw that vendors had at shows were just OK in quality, with what I thought was just decent chrome. Maybe you could contact them and see if they would sell you an undrilled set.
