Up for sale down my way is this curious roadster - radiator badge reads Meteor. Could be home built but a few panels look suspiciously factory. Any ideas.
I guess I would be bidding against the Petersen Museum then. Gerg - It certainly has similarities to the 1939 Bentley Corniche (see attached photo) but as only one is said to have been made and it was destroyed in Dieppe during the war - perhaps the same coach builder was involved in this one. A32Flathead - Yes the Lincoln look made me think it was a home build made from Lincoln parts but appears to be an influence rather than a contributor of panels. Kume.
Is there a single panel on it that's not rotted through? Restoring it would entail rebuilding it from scratch.
I have no idea what it is, but I would make wooden bucks for every piece and duplicate it out of aluminum. That would be a killer little euro style roadster. I would use all early Ford running gear for the hell of it....
I want it. I would take the pile of parts for sure if you don't. Make a Zephyr boat tail Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
