It's definitely not a 33-34 . . . as they have the motor mount donut holes behind the main cross member -- not on the top of it.
Your right, re-reading that it looks like i want the front of the truck in whole I'm looking for the whole front axle ***y with disk brakes, crossmember, steering box and linkage. I'm under the impression the MII setup won't work unless I run fenderless so I'm leaning towards a dropped axle cross steer setup.
You need to be more specific about what you are building. Independent suspension on a 30s car or truck, even if it's running fenders, just turns me right off. MII and disc brakes is getting into street rod territory, and not traditional hot rod. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can't see the suspension hiding under the fenders because it will all be visible. Personally, I hate seeing disc brakes on early cars, too, but I'm probably one of the more traditional-minded personalities here. Decide early in your build whether you are building a street rod or a traditional hot rod, and it will save you from ending up with a truck with iden***y issues.
all that stuff is available just by phoning any one of a number of streetrod parts vendors but what kind of fun would that be? i get most of the stuff i need by hitting the swapmeet scene and trading "junk" back and forth with others. its also suprising how much stuff is still out there in farmers barns and fields etc. good luck with the hunt.
