Hot Rods Can Anyone Identify this Dash?

31 Essex?

the 29 Essex ‘Pinecone’ panel.

All of these are of the era and a bit more narrow than the 28 Chrysler…and might be a good size for a speedster/ track roadster. Junkyard parts have always found their way into hot rods; higher end cars were often the source as they could be picked up for cheap,and easily adapted.

I picked up a number of older instrument panels because of their unique designs.

One more narrow panel that I almost used instead of the Chrysler


Tha Auburn panel isn’t thae only choice of old panels to use in a hot rods.

 

I told the seller that I had to pass on his dash.
Nice guy! He didn't know what it came from so was happy with that info.
