This came under a T bucket I biught and someone had tried to weld the spider gears together. The ring gear measures 8" and it has "Ford USA 1A-4210-B" stamped on it. There is only a date cast on the housing of 1-69. It's not a normal Ford 8" as best I can determine from research I've done. I appreciate any help you can give me.

I think you're looking at an early 50s-early 60s Ford rearend before the 8" we all know and love appeared on the scene. The 1A designation of the ring gear part indicates 1951. I don't think the 1-69 is a casting date at all.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm just going to try finding a later 8" to swap it out with.
