can anyone identify this steering grearbox?

I was wondering if anyone could identify this steering gearbox...

It's kind of a bad picture but I cut out all the crap around it to make it a bit clearer.

Wow, Nobody's even got a guess? It's setup for cowl steering.
It doesn't look familure to me but I was hoping someone would recognize it.

Maybe a bump for more chances......

 

if your lookin for a guess...it looks like a pretty generic part that could have come from many 50's-60 cars. its very similar to the one in my 53 stude and ive seen vitually the same box in a late 50's vette. probably others makes/models as well
