Can anyone identify who did these pinstripes...?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 'Flyin' Dutchman', Sep 25, 2006.

  1. A friend of mine bought this Galaxie a few months ago and is curious about the pinstripes, because they look so old.

The car has been in the Netherlands for about 10 years already, but the previous Dutch owner bought it in the LA area.

It seems that the car has been owned by someone named Steve Snoke (???).. Last name might be slightly different. I will know for sure tomorrow.

We think the car has resided in the Garden Grove area, because there were a lot of receipts included from a tranny rebuilt, etc., all done in garden Grove.

Oh yeah, the flames on the side are only done on the passenger side of the car... Weird..

Under the flying eyeball it says something like: "In other stripers minds"... And something like "Heliusa..." It's very hard to see..

Maybe someone of you can identify the stripes, or maybe someone even knows the old owner of the car.

    Thanks,

    Maurice

  2. The eyeball style looks a bit like how Ron Myers does them but I'm not sure of the striping.

  5. Yeah... Still alive. Pretty busy these days... Doing a lot of stuff for M/C magazines and building another bike. Also still working on the Airbase.

P.s. I really thought that some of you LA area old timers would recognize this car........
