I'm hoping you guy's can lead me in the right direction. I need to find someone to do machine and ***embly work for the flathead I'm putting in my 31' A. I prefer a HAMB'er or someone that comes highly recommended. It's will be a hot street set-up, 3x2's etc.

I work with his son who also works at the shop. They do a lot of older engines from what I have been told. I will be using the to do mine.

He did my Ford 8N motor and my neighbor's 49 Lincoln flatheads. He builds race cars.

See if Dale Hays over in Columbus can help you out. He goes by "Bored And Stroked". VERY knowledgeable. If you're not in a hurry and can wait til the first of April (Thats when he returns from Florida) try Don Anderson up in Tipp City. He's been at it since 1949 and has built some really impressive ones for his vintage sprint cars.

There's also Don Broyles in Dayton on Webster St. He's been at it a long time. I don't think he does the actual machine work anymore but can get that done and then put a motor together for you. Also, David Fleming at FLEMINGS ENGINE MACHINE & REPAIR over in Utica, Ohio near Newark. Dave can and does do the actual machine work, including crack repairs.
