Brings up a good question I wanted to ask....Where do I locate the VIN number on my 1950 GMC COE....and is it in more than one location?

    Thanks for your help....

VIN, (ID plate) on a 1950 GMC should be in the driver door jamb. Onthe more common 350 series 2 ton GMC COE's, this is the only location. On the Heavier 450 series 3 ton, & larger GMC COE's, the VIN/ID no., is also located on the "GMC Service Parts Identification " plate located on the back of the glove box lid.

Ok...so I finally got a chance to look for the VIN tag on the drivers side....except there isnt one....it appears there may be some numbers stamped into the jamb itself...but they are so faint I cant tell....I dont have a glove box door...so now what...****...I have a ***le but dont know if it actually matches the cab...

    Any Ideas...

    Thanks for your help...
