That is a beautiful car, may not be the proper terminology but almost has a cl***y custom/lowrider look

If it were mine, I'd lower the headlights 2 or 3 inches (but keep them mounted to the grille shell), put full hubcaps on it (maybe '56 Lincoln like in my avatar), and restore the stainless on the side of the running boards. That would be plenty, IMO.

Farm country indeed, white boy. This car is a natural OG La Bomb-a lowrider material. Custom is stretching the term. Google the term used to best describe your car. Please never mention 350 sbc/MMII again. It kill's the mood, if you get my drift.

If I could have gotten the I beam as low as I wanted, I would have kept it. As for the sbc, it's temporary until I find a switch/pitch ****** for the Nailhead I have waiting in the wings.... How's that?!!!

No problem Stevie, thats why its just an opinion. Keeping the bullet headlights will tend to put it in the Bomba/Lowrider category which is a great look all its own

I did some digital customizing on your Nash:
    1950 Chrysler Sombrero wheel cover
    Skirt on the back
    Removed the headlights.

I originally planned to drop the headlights low into the fenders.
But removing them entirely made the long hood and shield grille really stand out, so I left them off.

Then I had an idea. Use pop-up headlights like the 1936 Cord 810 (inset). Cl***y, no?

    Stevie sent me a message:
"Love what you did to it. Was wondering if you could provide the same photo with the headlights in the original position, and another with them lowered. Keeping everything else you changed the same. Oh! I plan on painting the running boards black with a chrome strip down the side..."

    Three versions:
    Stock high
    Stock low and faired in
    1940 Nash lights mounted low.
