You don't actually upload video files to the H.A.M.B.. You'll first need to upload the video file to YouTube, or some other video hosting service. If you use YouTube you can then embed the video in the forums here and any one can click on it and play the video here.

If you host it on Photobucket or some other site, you can still post a link to the video here. We can click on it and view it on the hosting site.

  5. Thanks Clay !
It was a monumental (for me anyway) to get the vid out of my phone into the computer to a place I could find it. It was no trouble at all getting every pic on my computer into my phone ! ! PITA now.

So I'm off to concur youtube now.

You're welcome. I couldn't really gauge just how much experience you've had working with this kind of stuff so here's some additional info.

As far as I know this forum will only allow embedding YouTube videos. Uploading to YouTube can be a little tedious though. Hopefully you've got a fairly fast internet connection. I think they'll accept MP4 files but you nay have to convert to a different file format and a smaller resolution to keep the file sizes reasonably small. Maybe something like 640 x 480 if your original video was shot in HD.

It's a bit of extra prep work but it will make uploading faster regardless of if its to YouTube, Photobucket or somewhere else. ***uming you're working with Windows, you may be able to resize and do some simple editing with Windows Movie Maker.
