Hey all i need some help i have a gallon of Rust-oleum truck bed coating paint it is a texture finish and i want to know if anyone has ever used a spray gun to spray there bed or other parts i called Rust-oleum and they said that they have never tried it but that they do sell it in spray cans. so if anyone has used a spray gun let me know. thanks,
You can spray it, you just need the correct sized fluid tip for the gun. If its the one Im thinking about you will need a HUGE tip for it.
Yea, we sprayed bed liner on the underside of the fenders on Faye using a "Shoots" (wrong spelling) gun for undercoating.
Lets try this one more time a schutz gun is what you would look for. http://www.amazon.com/PN08997-Body-Schutz-Applicator-Gun/dp/B005ITREU2
I sprayed Zolotone bed coating through a cheapy siphon gun by putting a tee in the air line and pressurizing the pot at the vent fitting, through a regulator set at about 5 psi. Blue
I coated the underside of my 62 fairlane with Herculiner. I used a normal sandblasting gun for a cabinet style set up ( siphon fed ). I just removed the ceramic insert and it worked like a charm. Cheap and easy.
