Yeah, I think it can be saved. The quality of the build leaves a little to be desired. But, the corvette suspension and running gear is very cool. But, then again, I am not a Hamber.

Was it a shop class project behind a high school (school bus), maybe done by young skulls (pun intended) full of mush? It makes me think of some of my high boy Hot Wheels hot rods where I wish somehow I could neatly shave off about 2/3 of the inner tire to make it look more accurate.

If it were offered, I'd take this sedan in a heartbeat, I'm a good frabrcator but my body work*****s, to put it mildly. I couldn't do the tinwork decently on this one. I'd eliminate the 'Vette*****, make her a 4 coil solid rear axle driver like an asphalt oval track racecar and swap in a small block Ford. When I was done, it'd handle and run as well., likely better. Oh yeah, that grille shell and any skulls/barbed wire would disappear.would disappear also.

It's alot like a fat chick. Fun to ride til your buddys see you with it!

  10. I kind of like it, except for the grille and skull. As long as the non-traditional parts are black you don't notice them that much.

Those you linked are completely differant then the one the OP linked. Level of craftsmanship is head and shoulders above that**************. Not to mention style and everything else.

Also, doesnt 9 grand sound a bit high for an opening bid to anyone else? I mean sure it has that fantastic* corvette suspension.. but still sounds awful high for that pile.

    *please note, sarcasm used here.

Yea I know the guy that owns this ride. He has another project in the works and I think that he is using saw blades all over the car as decoration. If you ask me it is a waist of great rod material. He had about half a dozen '55 chevy's also but he has just drug the bus up in the past month or two. His shop is like five blocks from my house so I see it all the time.

I'm VERY sorry to hear that ... I didn't tell you this, but you should steal that car and donate it to a good home. I mean they have protection agencies for kids and pets ... why not one for cars?

Oh yeah, by the way. My Dad has a set of those Corvette rims that need to be trued and painted flat black to match those beauties. I can sell them for my pops cheap I'm sure! You Deuce guys have got to have those for your new ride.

If you can't tell the difference between these cars, you are in the wrong place.
