I have a 1952 chev 2 door post that I'm in the process of getting back on the road and I wanted to check the numbers on it. I'm not sure if its a style line, belair, etc. I looked everywhere I could find on the good ol net and I can't match them up. Hopefully one of the knowledgable members on here knows or can point me in the right direction. The numbers are as follows Model 12-11. Serial 2121143685. Engine 582029. Trim 476. Body serial 7049. Paint 256
1211 is the style number for the base model Styleline Special two door sedan. The engine number should have a prefix KA and the numbers go from KA 1001 to KA 860773 so yours is about 2/3 the way through. There might be a casting date on the block to give a more exact date. Your serial number doesn't match the sequence in the book though. This info is from The Standard Catalog.
