I have had these for years aways wandered what they are off of. They are potmetal with gl*** lenses. They have sedan left and sedan right cast into the back side. Here is a picture of one.
Well, they were originally painted body color and probably mounted horizontally. 47-48 Studebaker? If they are MOPAR they will have the DPCD square emblem cast inside them with a pat number.
Thought for sure they were '40s Mopar; but can't place 'em. '46-'48 Chrysler is close, but no cigar. Are there any other letters or symbols or part numbers on the back?
I'm pretty sure they're 1940 Chrysler sedan The photo is a '40 coupe but the differences are only in the shape of the back side where they fit the body.
