Ryan, and the Mod's= hear me out before this goes away........
So- We have past members, we have new members.... it's a come and go sort of thing. Some remain through time......
What i'm getting at is= Say a newbie here, and has found us, and abides by the rules, ask's a Q-
Then get's a reply like "you should do this/that"......... It doesn't help with his/her Q, but an opinion.....
Granted- I'll be the first to admit that I don't know it all, and always learning something here.
And when I say a newb, I mean a legit Q....... Not what color should my underwear be today.....
I'm thinking safety......... Some just disregard the issue at hand, and say just buy this/that, and you'll be good......
I don't agree with some responses what so ever, but I'm not going to get into a ******* match to tell someone their full of ****.....
I do know some stuff= hey-I'm alive! , But..... I'll argue my point a loud if someone's *** is on the line....
So instead of verbal combat, can there be a "thumbs down"?
That would probably let a poster (in response ) know members don't agree?
I usually PM someone when I see things going sideways , Not to hide from the board, but for specifics......
Some info here is being distributed incorrectly, and it need's to be curbed.
I don't want to see anybody get hurt, spend coin for something not needed, nor get wrong info....
Sorry for the rant, but ........I'm seeing a lot these days.......
I know you ALL have better things going on, like "playing car's" LOL, But- We have to protect our own, and, like anything else, opinions might get some into trouble, or worse.
    Thanks for hearing me.......Kid

If you don't like the post just skip it, I left a sight that had the negative feed back.

Some guys that's all they did, too many people with a chip on their shoulder.

it's not "liking" a thread........ I read into them in depth.... Called trying to learn something that I do not know, or a tip/trick. My post was regarding some half ***ed info provided= like "you should do this/that". I respond with my experiences, and not first timers, but proven facts........I certainly wouldn't just give my OP to a newb if I didn't have the experience to back it up, or proven.......
Just too much **** flying around- Hell, the internet!
I have no chip's to carry...... learned the hard way by trial/error..... BUT- When I see a post suggesting something really absurd, spending someone's coin like it's free, and giving false advise, I interject.....
myself= I'de hate to take anyone's word who's a self claimed expert, my **** goes sour for me, and GOD forbid, something happens= fill in the blanks here........... The thumbs down icon could be telling someone that their .02c wasn't cool..... Not against condeming posters who reply, and not personable........, but, a "your full of ****, and what's your reasoning " icon won't happen....... No ******* match here, just see some faulty info that might cause serious problems.......
I think= seriously, that others woud'nt want that going on with themselves.........Anyone who reads this= besides blowing off a thread, would you know any better, if you didn't know already? Food for thought......

We live and we learn, I'm sure at one time or another most of us have been guilty of spreading misinformation, I would think 95% of the time it wasn't intentional just the way it was presented to the OP.

Having a open discussion is one way of setting the record straight, IMHO the thumbs up or down just seems to be the non verbal acceptance or re****al to the subject but skirts the issue if you think the information is wrong.

Just my 2 cents worth. HRP

To a newbie, regardless of your opinion, your thumbs down will be ignored.
He doesn’t know you or I from Adam. So if we disagree with a response we actually have to tell them why. Political correctness just ****s.
