i scored some cool EELCO mini breathers awhile back,i figure if i can mill off where it says "OFFENHAUSER" on the valve covers and install them there it would look pretty cool.thing is,do i need'em? normal freeway cruising is at 2800-3000 RPM,and the oil fill breather and road draft tube seem to do the job just fine.on the other hand, there is my nephew's small block ford.he's got these spiffy valve covers that he doesn't want to drill holes in.so i picked up a remote oil filler tank at the stockton circle track swap.the idea is to plumb that into the fuel pump blockoff plate with AN fittings, then cut a hole in the cap for a breather which plumbs in to the air cleaner or the FI baseplate.will that be enough? Where will the fresh air enter the engine? A breather system need air flow. Oily damp air out. Fresh air in.

For the mini breathers, you dont have to drill the holes for the breather element if you are afraid of leaks. Just add them for decoration. That's all the Offy V/Cs are anyway. [IMG]
