Can ya say a prayer for my wife

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by TooMany2count, Dec 18, 2006.

  1. Denise has been having chest & arm pains for the past few weeks & she was finally able to get in to have a stress test, like i dont give her enough stress already   . anyway they said they seen something odd on her pictures & wanted to do a go inside & look w/a scope.

the good news is they caught everything in time & say she basicly has a very strong & healthy heart.

bad news is they are going to do anywhere from 4 to 6 by-passes tommorow morning BUT they also say that because of how healthy her heart muscles are that everything should be just fine. they say should be home for Christmas & will be off work for at least 4 weeks.

so if u would please keep Denise in ur thoughts & prayers for the next few day i will be forever greatful..........joe

I'm going to call the Red Cross and schedule a donation and talk to the MAN tonight.

Keep well and have a restful Christmas.

Absolutely! Prayer said. Sounds like the docs are very optomistic. That is a good sign. Having her home and healthy will be a good Christmas present.

I dont know if this will help you or not, BUT! What they can do today is nothing short of amazing! My dad had 5 bypasses done 1.5 yrs ago @ the age of 73. He was discharged from the hospital and HOME on the morning of the 5th day! He says he hasnt felt this good in 20 yrs!
Take care of Denise. I'm sure she'll do quite well.

I will certainly say a prayer. We are going through the same thing with my wifes grandmother. She is 85 and say she can not stand the open chest method so they are sending her to Dallas and will enter through the groin. I have never heard that before. Good luck. TP
