hey guys Dad has a 1941 chevy truck. but he really likes the front end of the 39. is it possible to interchange the front clip and make his truck look like a 39 or 40?
a lot of parts interchange, and i know the firewalls are different, i would think it could be done if you changed the whole nose including radiator support and fenders but am not sure
anything is possible, all you need is a grinder, a welder, a can of filler sand paper,, and some spare time .. and a picture of what you want to build .... you could find a photo of each , and trim the two to fit together,, then photocopy it.. see how it looks first though.. have an adventure !!
39 & 41 cabs are virtually the same (39's have a flat dash), so I don't know why it wouldn't work if you had the whole early clip.
