I understand the timing, you would certainly need another week for Newfoundland, with the ferry crossings and over 500 miles of Trans Canada Highway which ends in St. John's.

And you would definitely need to keep your travels limited to daylight hours with all those huge moose running around :)
It's been a long time since I have been on the rock, but I am hoping that the roads have been improved.
Back in the late 70s I was appalled that they actually called that rough section of potholes the Trans Canada Hiway. o_O

  3. Here are my personal opinions of road conditions & drivers from Vancouver Island to Halifax
Worst civic roads: Saskatoon SK (we have logging roads inB.C that are smoother
Worst highways : sections of New Brunswick highway, especially before the Confederation Bridge . Also New Brunswick which is sparsely populated has no rest stops?
    Worst Drivers: Quebec
    Fastest Drivers: Toronto Speedway
Road construction delays: Ontario must have every bridge being resurfaced

Drove from White City, Saskatchewan to Banff Alberta with the last half of the day driving in heavy wind & rain.

Yes I believe you are right. That's why I'm building one.
Hope your trip is still going good, update us when you get home.
Here is a picture of the car that I mentioned riding in, my buddy Dave's 27. The car that sowed the seeds of my roadster love affair ;)

Met him at a cruise in Edmonton! Said he liked our roadster, but wished we would have put a Ford engine in it!

Big Thank You to Bill & Debbie Doherty (Atlantic Nationals) who came to our rescue when we had rear shock issues! Here is their '31 Chevy 3 window coupe.

Makes me wish I had not missed that get together. I was up in the Yukon at the time.
