Must be more of an eastern Canada thing as I have heard of it but never seen it out west, not that I have looked very hard.
It's very tasty and hard to miss with the yellowish cornmeal coating and generally cooked in 1/4" slices. It's a bit more cost wise at the diner and a nice alternative to strip bacon.
you're trying to decide between a 56 Meteor and a Deuce 5 window???!!! Why don't you let me help you with that terrible problem. I will take the 5w off your hands and all will be well! I honestly don't mind
Jalopy is this a Canuckers car down your way or is it a Canadian Model of Acadian/Canso/Nova just curious not totally fluent in those and yeah there was even Chevy ll Or am I completely daft and Stockton is a place in say Manitoba?
I was at a cruise today and I met 2 Hambers...thats almost as rare as finding a car with Bias Plys......But hey it was cool...One was @AngleGrinder who has a Real Black 39 Ford Hotrod Coupe is a Metal Sculpturist and @Phil P who literally got his newly acquired 1930 Ford Coupe on the road in its pre-transformation to Hotrod stage today. I was looking at this character which is probably a lot more traditional than we think. Using car parts for trophies and such is really not a new phenomenon thinking of camsaft spreader bars. Cool guy and Cool Hotrod. Phil is just happy to get this on the road and its a solid start. Bumpers are Off!! Go Phil Go... Oh...I was there too...it was a 1hr trip per way through the beautiful rural areas of eastern Ontario...a great day it was...
the 60's called... you stole their hot rod and they want it back!!! man PERFECT 60's build. Gorgeous car man!
Lot of neat stuff you folks have, but my favorite is 40ply's 40 Plymouth ...& i'm a ford guy! Just love those 40's Mopars....... mike
But I would mind.... my problem is I take my time and too much of it! I'll probably get to the '32 first as I would like to take it to Deuce Days. Hell, I already have the t-shirt!
Yes take it to Deuce Days and I can take it off your hands there!!!! Ha ha Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
it's the Canadian model=Canso. Rare in the states, and i'de rather have one than the GM counterpart....=owned 25+.......... Then there's the Chevelle "Beaumont".......Which is a beauty itself... Canadian cars are the shiz nizzle...... OK- They are nice to my eyes, and rather have something "rarer" than what I can/could get my hands on here.....Grille/tail light treatment, even in kilo's on the speedometer..... Just execution and style.IMO.
How do ya know @Jalopy Joker wasn't here and didn't say hello but took a few snaps...or bought it and drove it home...
