Hello there, Just joined this afternoon. I have myself a project that i need help with. I inherited my Dad's 1956 Monarch, a Canadian Mercury. After a couple years taking photos, it was time last fall to start taking her apart and bring her back to life, albeit, a little more aggressive. the Goal: 460ci with 500hp and 500ft/lbs t-56 6-speed 8 inch posi 4 wheel disc and keep the bench seat... needing help getting the engine mounted properly and clearing steering box and such. will be putting up a post about that, this was to be an intro. thanks i have found that if i search this site i get lost in all the cool info but then run out of time for actually working on car... this is my first resto... quite the eye opener to all the details...
