I just received information that as of Oct.2 2014, USA Customs have changed the Export Regulations
pertaining to Exporting a Vehicle from the USA into Canada. They have made it simpler but costlier by requiring all Exported Vehicles must use the Services of a Recognized Custom BROKER. Brokers are listed at Border Crossing Web Sites.

I have done my own paperwork to import cars before,it is simpler to pay a broker to do it for you, forget to dot an I or cross a T,the border guards will let you know it,they wont help you either, like asking for help in a foreign country that you dont speak the right language?,The big form was easy to do,it is all a tax grab for the goverment anyway. If you have all your paperwork done ahead by a broker you are on your way a lot faster too.The americans were harder to please, they want all the right papers,no ifs or buts,it either is right or you arent going any where soon.Havent done one in about 5 years, but if i was to do another,i would call a broker, not that expensive either.
