'34 Ford tudor sedan hot rod project with Current Iowa ***le. I was all excited to get this a couple years ago, but then my dream coupe came along, so I should sell my other cars, get focused. Dropped axle, new kingpins, disc brakes, cross-steer, 4-bar. Triangulated 4-bar with 8” Ford rear, coil-overs. Includes steel wheels, new P235/75 R15 rear tires, beater fronts. Used SB Chev 350/TH350. Engine has bad heads, but ran well until teardown. Parts will include fresh 1.94 heads, Edelbrock Torker intake, block-hugger headers, 2nd TH350 fresh rebuild, LoKar shifter, gas pedal & emergency brake, braided dip sticks. Solid car, not all patch panels like most, with hot rod chop. Floor needs finishing, new panels welded in, no tunnel. It will need finish metal work on the chop only IF you want to go the 'nice & shiny" route. It was gonna be “hot rod,” so seeing a weld here and there is okay for me (but it’s not the rat rod look). I can include a roof off of late-model Volvo (late 70s) with sunroof, if you are so inclined for filling the top. Includes Grille, hood, fair-to-good steel fenders, front fender/headlight mount brackets and headlight buckets with sealed-beam, running boards, smoothie rear pan with license pocket. Additional PARTS included: A pair of 2000 Camaro bucket seats included. I am not sure if rear cushions are original, decent springs, it’s a start for a seat. No inside garnish moldings. Some of the window channel hardware is included, as is some old gl*** for window patterns. I have the rear qtr window inside panels (not shown in picture of interior). New poly gas tank, tilt late GM column, Borgeson & Sweet u-joints, dash with SW gauges, tub of misc. parts. new PRC aluminum radiator with A/C condenser, heater-A/C unit. Driveshaft to fit TH350, some brake and fuel lines fitted. Cash price shown, bring that and your trailer. Peace. Central Iowa
Price for new package as shown in THIS ad: $17,850. Strongly prefer cash. Soon. Before winter. Trades very unlikely unless licensed, driving, very nice no-rust cars: '67-9 C-10 short (modernized ch***is and driveline); Shadow Rods king '27 T on '32 rails and done suspension, with seat, top, windshield, legit ***le, etc.; maybe outstanding '53 Stude coupe with disc front, LS driveline; nice chopped '48 Austin 2dr w/disc brake IFS, 9" narrowed rear... Okay, Sure, a '32-4 phaeton with nice top, SB Ford or Chevy... or a new C8 middy Corvette. Sure... dat's it! New Corvette! wow, this new 'recreational' cannabis for quarantine is SOMEthing! wooo eeee! (just joking, kids, just joking)
The new radiator - Dillon with fan, A/C condenser (in the cardboard). This replaces the previously shown/listed PRC radiator. Same price for the project/package.
Last chance? I think I may back off on my coupe project and build this for summer. Buy it now so you can finish it instead of me...
TEMPORARY PRICE $17,500. I'm about to get back to working on the sedan, so price will increase appropriately as work gets done. LIMITED transport for reasonable fee. (My old truck cannot get far)
I hope to be at Des Moines swap (Fairgrounds) May 7-8 with my 4-dr and lotsa parts. The 2dr is just 30 minutes away, come see it after swap meet!
If it doesn't get bought soon, I gotta start working on it again... with proportional increase in price as it progresses, ya know the deal... Buy now, save $$
