Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by **DONOTDELETE**, Sep 29, 2003.

  1. Does anyone make spraypaint that has a candy finish or tiny flake?? i know someone asked this a while ago but couldnt find the post...

  2. RatPack there is a brand called VHT that use to make rattlecan metalflakes. I'm not sure if they still do but I know they still make paint so you should be able to find it somewhere.

I think Plastic Kote was the name of the company that made that paint it was only in four colors.

  4. Found the plastikote site...thanks 46. ever use any of this stuff? does it really come out like they make it look. it is just for paintin little stuff so i don't want to spend he $ on "real" flake.

Find a honda motorcycle dealer. Honda had some cool candy top coat over metalic base colors from the 60's. I used the red years ago and it came out great.
    good luck

Rat I used all the colors but the blue was the best the green was cool too. Use a dark primer under them and a good clear coat and you'll be fine
