    Once again thanks for all your posts, loudbang!
    One style I haven't seen much here and out in the world is something that was sort of common for funny car tin. A base was applied, then acetylene soot created the pattern which was covered in clear.
    Found this example doing a search.

    Talk about serendipity today on the HAMB somewhere and I can't remember which thread acetylene soot painting was shown I THINK on a Comet.

    A friend of mine In Yreka, CApainted this in the 60’s. He did such a big effort to get right and left sides identical that it burned him out on doing them.

    Here’s some flake I’ve done , more lined up to come in for flake later in the year also . Just flaking a 68 Corvette convertible now that’s getting some stripes and candy . I can post those in a few weeks since it’s not so common to see a C3 getting flake anymore.

    Jalopy, that looks like one that's local and the background looks familiar too.
    AZ 89 just North of Chino Valley, South of Paulden.
