I vote for paint. The "Rocket Launcher" kills the lines in my opinion. Sits perfect! Whats the front end?

 

My vote is to paint it. I love patina, and if the whole thing was like the front end, keep it. Nothing cooler than a survivor that's worked hard it's whole life and is now being coddled.

When you get to multicolor fenders, doors, and patch panels, it's time to let your vehicle know you love it and give it a fresh coat.

Paint it........... any color, as long as its shiney! Pick a primary color or a Neutral Metallic and the paint will be timeless.

Gotgas had a great suggestion with the white and gold. It would look awesome like that.

 

Paint it any colors but flat black with red wheels.
Stock colors to all out wild imagination, it is your choice,go for it.

definitely gloss paint, thats a beautiful truck, too nice to keep it looking that way. even though its nice as it sits.

 

Paint it ! My suggestion is to paint it a flat mettallic lt gold pearl basecoat or something similar with hardener. Body shops around here are all changing over to waterbase/clear,the old paint systems are all being returned to the bodyshop supply stores ,this stuff is piling up in the back rooms all over the place! Its a great oportunity to buy some solvent basecoats cheap ! A light scuff shoot it in the driveway !
