I HATE snow.... The only nice thing about the drive home today (@ 15 freakin' miles an hour) was that some guy in an econo-box flashed his lights and let me merge in line. Thanks buddy.
Rick ,you know me well enough to know I despise winter and never complain about hot weather. Winter ****s! HRP
........Winter ****s here in Wisconsin.......Lots of snow and cold.......drives a man to drinking..........Can't wait for spring.......
I too never complain about the heat, but I wonder if anyone else is needing the winter to get their project on the road. A few months of winter, and only a years worth of work........
I agree, a dusting here in Md. turned into a parking lot on Interstate 95. I went to Ole 55 outside of Phila for some new Christmas goodies and a tour of their shop. Normal travel time about 2 hours each way . It turned into a 10 hour trip, unbelievable amount of accidents caused by road warriors going too fast for conditions. Sure enough the guy that went by us at about 70 was up ahead in a 5 car accident, and there were plenty more. I have had enough already! But hey at least I got to see some cool tri-five builds and landed a set of 57 150 fenders.
Yea, but don't you guys have winter drag racing on frozen rivers with spike-studded tires? Seen pics of that action in a car mag some time last year.
Me too, but it's been freakin' cold here in NC too. Originally from Colorado, love the South, but didn't think it would get this cold.
I hate winter, the snow, the cold, and dark dismal days !!! I have a 1 car garage and I can't work on my project! I'm not a happy camper
Bring that car up here and it would last maybe 3 winters before it rotted out from the salt on the roads. Ask me how I know.
It's all part of the process. I love the change of seasons. Sometimes we get all 4 in one day here. Looking forward to driving in the snow.
That's not snow Looks like alittle white powder stuff like flour or something. Monday we had "real" snow and ice. My normal 20 minute drive to work took 2 hours and 7 minutes. Like others have mentioned, it's a good time to get those projects going full blast whether it be in the garage, house, where ever. I get lots done in the winter which allows me more time during the cruzn season to just cruz and not have to worry about a "honey-do" list.
I just hope it snows when its supposed to and then goes away at the appropriate time, the last few years it has been mellow untill late feburary and then the snow comes just when you are wanting it to get warm. I like a white christmas but it can go away after the first of the year,in the past when it has been warm in december it gets very cold after the first of the year but since its gotten very cold in december this year maybe it will warm up after the first of the year and the rest of winter will be bearable.
Nice looking longroof Pat! Hell;that ain't snow;I got that much from the wind blowing it under my door lol! I remember the first year I was in Maryland(winter of 1965)at Pax River we got 26" of snow 5 days before Christmas. Most snow they had there in years. The whole base was paralyzed for a week!Got another 8" on top of that about a week later. Here in Michigan(where I'm at anyway)we don't get a lot of snow(couple of feet per year)but it does get cold and windy. The other day it was 9 degrees at 2pm and the wind was gusting up to 40 mph.You know it's cold when you walk from your back door to the shop(40 ft maybe)and your nostril hairs freeze on the way! Merry Christmas to ya!
