I would second these sentiments. The front end styling is already very good. Canted quads (pardon the pun) would be a square peg in a round hole here. A modification for the sake of modification. The rolled pan under the lower grill completes this look, like Cushenbery's "Limelighter". Would be stellar.
Man, has this turned into a place where people are talked out of making modifications? Hell yes give the Buick canted quads. There is plenty of room for them because the headlights are 5 3/4" instead of 7" and just angle them so they will fit. If you really want canted quads just do it
Lean those back, french them deeper and put them under a gl*** cover like the E-Type Jag or Ferarri 250 GTO and that Corvette might look sweet.
Anyone know anything about that white 54 Chevy up top? I’m wondering if it’s AI? The sign says it’s a 54 Merc if that’s a merc, someone went through an awful lot of trouble to make it look like a Chevy
@hotdamn - This pic you posted looks like the one-time Cort Elliott '51 Chevy. Last I saw of it quite awhile ago, it was still owned by someone in BC and in primer. The car in the pic has evidently been redone, has Ohio plates, newer wheels. Do you know if that is indeed the car? Or maybe a tribute? The dreaded "A.I."?? @Moriarity ? That car is absolutely one of my all-time favorite custom cars. At any rate, thanks for posting.

Thanks for the link - I seem to forget about the Kustomrama page, a wealth of information on that site. Interesting that there is a photo on that page that's very similar to the one posted here by @hotdamn . But the newer posted photo has no cars in the background where the Kustomrama photo does. And the Kustomrama 1960s photo has the original (BC??) license plate where the photo posted here has an Ohio 1954 plate. Apparently someone did some photo work there? I'm not sure that adding canted quads will make it more so. Some customs tend to go a little too far. Change, for the sake of change, isn't good. But, if you must...
