Any of you north texas boys go to the canton swap meet? we are thinking about going in october ..is it hamb friendly or mostly sbc mustang?
small meet....local stuff and some of the regular circuit venders...get there before they - venders - snap up the deals... there are more meets and less time to set up or sell....which doesn't get it with me....just my two cents... have fun and best of luck getting something you need/want...
Well if you want a deer head some chinese tools, bubba's with rusted out like new shit that they have hauled to 10 are more swap meets ! and sometimes if you out run the locals you might find something, beats mowing the yard and the taco stand by I 20 is good ! Its more of a social gathering not many venders mostly junk not the good kind !!
Been to it once. I remember buying something off the Chinese tool table. My bud found a heater fan and something else--he had a better day. If you're thinking roadster bodies and complete flatheads, uh, I don't think so.
I concur with everyone. Been to this one and it was really not worth it unless you are looking for non-flatty engine parts. Lots of used speed parts, mopar, ford, chevy, ect. The DFW meet October 24-26th at LoneStar Park is a good one. Lots of traditional stuff there. And you usually see Bass cruising around in his roadster or coupe.
