IMG_0220.jpeg IMG_0219.jpeg IMG_0218.jpeg IMG_0217.jpeg IMG_0215.jpeg IMG_0214.jpeg Nice day to go for a ride up to Burnt Hills NY today and visit with a number of friendly folks. In the process, a few small but needed things followed me home.

As usual, my photos leave something to be desired but hope they help you get the idea.

How did all the stuff on my trailer get upside down? There must have been a big wind storm I don’t remember.

  6. I used to go to the Burnt Hills swap meet with AVater when I lived in Connecticut. It was quite a drive, but I always found good stuff to buy, and good people to socialize with. Now that I live just outside of Carlisle, Pa. it is just to far to drive for a small meet, but I miss going there.

I saw an ad on Albany Craigslist saying that the 2024 event is tomorrow March 24! Kinda snuck up on me.
    Snowing here today though.

  8. Saratoga county has received a lot of snow upwards of 18 inches so it may be cancelled as we all dig out.

Nah! We only got 14, 15 inches... no problem! However I don't know if the swap meet happened today. Still sore from clearing the snow out of the driveway twice yesterday.

Wonder if that T Turtle deck is still looking for a home?

Meet was on, though vendors and attendance seemed weak compared to my memories.
As it was, wife and I had spent the weekend in Woodstock Vt and they had close to 2 feet of snow there. Burnt hills appeared to have 6-8 inches.
Bob, that T deck sold last year.
Enjoy the small sample from today:

I have to say there was some stunning scenery to and from the event.

Thanks for the report. Your photos look like the turnout was light compared to last year. A lot of local areas were still without power. The switch to the March date may have also contributed to the decrease.
