I think that numbers are probably down at most car shows. I know lots of guys my age (mid-sixties and older) who no longer attend because of health, finances, grandkids, loss of travelling gang, etc. The guys that were the backbone of the hobby are getting old and tired. I know I can't cover ground like I did even a few years ago and I'm in good shape (for an old guy!). Throw in some 95 degree weather and watch those gray heads disappear. As for not liking some of the cars, just walk past. The same concept as not clicking on a post that annoys you. Learn to be happy, people, quit looking for stuff to piss you off.
The first year that it was easy to find a parking spot about anywhere you wanted,,,,,,,that's the only plus I've seen to the 30 year rule!
Very true, in some ways it was almost nice. I was there all 4 days and still only managed to see about 1/3 of the cars there however. If there were any more I would have be overwhelmed. Can't wait for next year. We have already made plans. Anytime there is that many cars, how can you not have a good time?
