The big deal at Barret Jackson IMO, is when 2 or more high rollers get in a peeing match over some car, now common sense and any true value of the car becomes irrelevant, now it's an ego trip a**** the rich and famous. I'm sure everyone that takes cars there hopes and prays for this scenario as we all have seen cars sell for silly/ridiculous money, no way in Hell worth anywhere near price paid, but to these guys it does not matter, money is no object of concern. Thinking on going to Scottsdale 2018, on my list of shows to see, not to buy anything, many friends have said it's worth attending, quite the happening.
No matter of how you feel about these auctions Scottsdale during auction week should be on every car guys bucket list imho. There is so much going on you with all the auctions (5?), shows, swap meets, you can get a car overdose. I actually get tired of looking at cars before the weeks over.
