  2. I can't tell from that picture what kind of car it was originally.
Any more pics from different angles?

At the same time, it doesn't really matter what brand as the fender ends
and tail lights have been grafted on. Maybe 54 Lincoln lenses,

From the rear widow and roofline it may be a 49 or 50 Ford

Whatever it is, it's been heavily customized. I get the impression that the sheet metal we see in that picture looks quite different than what was originally on the car.

The top has clearly been chopped and the fenders and fins look like they started life on something entirely different, but were beautifully grafted onto this car. The truck lid, bumper and roll pan appear to have been massaged, too.

But I could easily be mistaken.

Either way, however, you are correct. It's a beautiful car from that angle.

Plymouth... probably same as what you have.

Taillights are 1956 Lincoln in extended rear fenders.

Wonder why the designer would want the trunk lid extending past the top of the bumper?

I think thats an optical illusion. The lip of the trunk seams to be at the same hight as the bumper, but there is space between the bumper and the trunk lip. Its hard to see, but look at the left side.

Look at the last picture showing the Hudson. the custom car is a 49/50 plymouth fast back sedan just like the black one parked couple spaces down from the Hud. the fender extensions do look like a Lincoln or maybe packard Packard has some similar looking fenders and lenses.

    here is a 49

It's a '51 or '52 Plymouth, not 49/50. The differences in the windshield shape, hood/grille clearly are 51/52. While the roof lines are the same for 49/52, the front and rear fenders, hood and bumpers, even the doors at the sculpture line, where the front fender fairs into the door, are different on 51/52.

  14. I agree that your Plymouth has a striking resemblance to that custom. I would have to say that everyone is right about it being a Plymouth like yours.

Would it be hard for me to do the somewhat same stuff to the fenders?
