Hot Rods Car lean to driver's side

    This doesn't make sense. How can it sit level but be 1" lower on the driver's side ???

    I would guess that this is the problem. Think of it the opposite way. The body is further over towards the driver's side (left side of vehicle) of the spring centre. This will add more weight to that side causing a lean. The road camber will accentuate this when driving on the left side of the road in England. Fix the rear axle alignment problem and it may help a lot.

    Also, I don't think this has been said, but check for broken spring leaves. If there is a break on one side it will weaken that side of the spring.

    Bachelor's lean. No p***enger for many years. Lol. I seriously have heard this term. I bought an original 32 roadster and he had a small coil spring mounted between the rear spring and crossmember and his reason was just that.
