Car show questionare your input is needed

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by safetysecondchoppers, Jan 29, 2008.

  1. Greetings all....as my club starts planning our second annual car show in central Illinois, I am asking for input from fellow car enthusiasts that more than likely go to car shows. What do you like or dislike about shows and what makes you go to one that may be a little further than "local". How far would you drive and why/why not. Last year our first show had about 50 or so cars. 90% were local cars and while most fit our "pre 64 traditional hot rod" qualifier, some didn't.... So......any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mike.

  2. If you stick to what YOU like about carshows, then you shouldn't have a problem.

I agree -- stick with what YOU and your club members like -- put it on for yourselves -- not for what "other" folks want

    Good luck
