Car stuff in Chicago?

I just graduated boot camp and am stuck over here at Naval station great lakes for my diesel engineman school. Any neat car/bike related stuff in chicago/ chicago area? Any help appreciated

 

me and my buddys got a car club here. right near great lakes. always working on ****/always digging up old cars. in fact one guy is ex navy machinist mate. theres also a bunch of cruizes and shows coming up. come hang out if you want.. you old enough to drunk yet?? HAH j/k..
