Does anyone know what adapter or adapter to modify that will enable me to face my 4 barrel carb forward on my inline offenhauser intake ? Thanks

that manifold is set up for a wcfb as i recall. you can use a parts-store adaptor, which usually have indentations where you'll need to drill and countersink to fit the offy manifold. countersunk screws of the proper thread can be found at the local hardware store. studs for mounting the carb come with the adaptor. speedway offers a "flathead carb adaptor" with the holes drilled and hardware included for $20, and for $90 they have a "vintage carb adaptor," which uses 2 holley 94s or stromberg 97s. when i ran one of those manifolds years ago, i just used a cable to work the carb linkage.

I have my 600 Holley mounted sideways facing the engine on my 292CI 6 cyl. seemed like that's the way to go for even fuel distribution.

Thanks for the reply. Was wanting to get away from the long looping throttle cable.I have seen others say carb position did not affect the mixture.?
