Gonna pick aup a new carb for my FE. need some recomendations.

I am really leaning twards the 1402020VFE Barry grants Speed Demon.

    Any input is great...

Engine is a 396CI FE Ford, 9.5:1, 268H cam, all new valve train and everything.

i emailed BG's tech line and thats what they recomended, but looking for some input on the demon carbs or others, i have never bought a brand new carb.

its gonna be under a larghe aircleaner and under a hood, so dont complain about how they look.

    thanks in advance guys.

It's hard to beat a Holley 3310 vacuum secondary carb for an FE motor. Especially if it's in a heavy car with an automatic.

I have a Holley Street Avenger in one of my cars, electric choke, vacuum secondaries, works great on the street, good power, too. 670 CFM should be pretty close for you.

I think a 750 cfm 3310 is too big for normal street use in a heavy car with a mild 390.The Corbra Jet only had around 730 CFM .I would think something around 650 cfm which can support 350 hp at less than 5500 rpm
