Now everyone likes to see bare metal shots don't they? Well here you go. I worked all last week getting the lander down to the shine. I covered it in metal prep, sanded it all off, and metal prepped it again, just because that is the kind of guy I am. I don't want anything coming back to haunt me later.

Saturday, the body got flipped upside down by myself and youngrodder, since Frizby was out mud wrestling over at James Dean/Ducktail. The underneath was covered in POR 15, we drank some beer and watched it dry, and then flipped it over and I did the inside too.

My buddy Russ (The Puttymaster General) got tired of screwing his girlfriend and came over and laid on some mud Saturday night. He tends to work better when he is drunk so I had the better part of 2 30 packs waiting on him. By sunday night we were almost out of beer but we are about 2/3'd finished with the bodywork. Some say he looks like Jeff Foxwothy, What do you think?

Flamed a-bone sent me some Keel on Cd (now known as disc 199 in the changer afer it replaced the Doors La Woman CD) and Mel, Jim, and I rocked out all day on Saturday! Here they are checking out the new OSR and making fun of me because my "high end rat rod" didn't make the cut again. Ha Ha Ha. Good help is hard to find!

Every time I look at this car I realise how many talented and creative people are on the H.A.M.B. That wil be one of the sweetest rides ever. I don't think it will start a trend because it is way too much body work for most to handle. Just beautiful!

You guys just piss me off! What the HELL! Every time I see the frickin sweet stuff you are working on I realize that I suck!

What I really need are some SKILLS! Computer hacking skills, Bo-fighting skills, nun-chuck skills, metalworking skills.

Even if I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer I still want to be in the kitchen!

Damn that looks good. I love the body, not an easy one to pull off and make it work, but you did. I wish I could buy a old rear outta something for a future project for a model a cowl I have, you got my wheels turning. unfortunately in Southwest Florida, we are the "no-old-tin" capital of the world. Old here is a 92' hyandi sonata, and the would look like poop with the model a cowl:(

  13. Looking good,

You figure out what you want to do about headlights yet?

I don't think that. He is however a helluva cool guy, has some skillz to reperesent the cornfields, and fun to drink beer with.
That thing (I am partial to Anal Intruder) is really coming together and looks pretty badass.
    See ya soon.

I hate it Aaron. I think it looks really stupid. Anybody whose anybody would metal finish it. But I guess yous guys in the 217 dont have the skill. Only tough guys in California do.

I may pull a drew and build a rat rod truck and sell it on ebay. So you should come down sometime after the pileup and show me the ol' skool ways of the rulers of illinios.

You know i love the lander. I dont need to tell you again. But i am, just so you wont think my first paragraph was serious. See ya soon.

    LOVE,
    Nick:eek:
