@HEATHEN ....It's an unwritten rule, if you post a picture of a car for sale, it's imperative that you show the price close enough so old eyes can read it.:D:eek:

Don, I zoomed in and saw no price. On the marketplace ad it was stated that the car would be at Carlisle. Let's see what the market says (if it sells there)!

Saw this at Carlisle too. I don't think it was for sale and was at the Brookville trailer

That little roadster was way cool, and sounded great when he had it fired up on Friday

It must have been upgraded to a four speed in the '60s; that's a '65-'66 GTO shifter sticking out of the floor.

I think the 32 shell needs to be a little larger.

Looks like a ‘32 windshield frame sitting between the model A windscreen posts .

Almost everything but the tires looks at least 60 years old. Locked in time.It would be hard to duplicate that level of period correctness in a new build. So without a doubt, worth more than the sum of its parts.
But it seems like he's asking for Mechum money at nearly 30 grand.

Yeah, the sort of car you needed to be one buyer earlier on.

It's cool, I feel like this would have been considered a pretty high end build in 1958. A few details must have been later additions if the '58 date is true, including the aforementioned shifter and that steering wheel, and the press-pleated upholstery, but nothing that ruins it, typical hot rod upgrades for a car that was hopefully driven a bit.
