  3. I Arrived at 9:00 friday morning, paid $10.00 to park 1/4 mile from the fairgrounds, $10.00 to get in, $8.00 for a breakfast sandwich, popped one pain pill (bad knee) walked 4 hours, paid $14.00 for a sandwich, fries & drink, popped another pain pill, walked another 4 hours, paid $3.50 for a drink, walked back to car and drove home (total gas $65.00 roundtrip).
Total parts found 0, total money spent $96.50.
But it still beat going to work :D

Well, I drove about 100 miles, paid the $10 to park at the armory (next year I will pay the $5 and park in someone's yard!), $20 for my wife and me to get in, bought 2 sandwiches and a small fries for $15. The damn ice cream people were sold out by 2pm! so we got Italian Ice for $3.00. Then we drove to Harrisburg and spent $45 on dinner at the passage to India.

I got all the supplies I needed, saving postage, plus some I forgot but recognized once I got there, had a great walk, the food at PoI is fantastic and my wife's Prius gets 50 mpg. So $103 plus parts plus 4 gallons of gas for the car-definitely beats working!! Oh, year, I popped a couple of Tylenol, too. :)

  5. I was there on friday...6:30 am to about 4.

Found what i wanted by 9:30 then walked around the rest of the time and found some other deals.

Parked for free, brought my own food, so it only cost me 10 bucks to get in. I will do it as long as I have the time. Always worth it, but I would agree that not many sellers willing to sell something.

I live just down the road in Chambersburg so I decided to drive my 56 Thunderbird up there. Parked on the street (for free) two blocks from gate 3. The weather was great, the legs gave out 3/4's of the way through. But did find some parts a bud was looking for. My car is done this trip was EXTRA fun without the pressure of scouring for needed parts.

Drove back home, mowed the grass, put the Mrs. in the bird and drove right back up there (to Boiling Springs) for dinner. Was a great day. Sunday went back to cold and rainy.

All FORD days up next in early June!!

Caddy I would come for Hershey if you can come for two week fall carlise is the week befor and Hershey is the week after...Hershey is the ultimate swap meet 9500 vendors 95% of it's early stuff 1950 & earlier.... Best swap meet I've ever been to it's on the east coast so I won't know how easy it would be to get to the west coast...they say if you can't find it at hershey it doesn't exist...look on the Hershey region aaca page for dates...I've meet good people there traded beers with Germans, talked to collectors from Mexico swedan England made good friends over the years....you need to make hotel reservations now though
