I found exactly nothing on Thursday after walking for 7-hours and had to make two trips back to the truck today (Friday) with goodies after just 3½-hours! Go figure..................

Didn't get anything worth posting pics of, but did get some stuff. Was there on Friday, cold in the morning but not bad later. Meet the only 2 guys that posted where their booths were (that I saw posted) was nice to put a face to the username and avatar. My friend has a booth and I heard some of the most unknowledgable questions I have ever heard. 1 guy was looking at a fender '81up chev truck looked it all over said it was nice butmarker light was wrong for it to work on his '71 C10. Another guy was looking at wheels that he had for sale, ask what they were for he told him 4.5" bolt pattern- the guy says no I can see 5 same size holes. Go figure.

Have been a vendor at Carlisle for 8 to 10 years. There are no cheap motel rooms. $138 a night at Super 8 and going up to $150 next year . They said that is a discount as their usual rate is $199.

Paid a visit to the Lug Nut King. That dude always has a line at his spot.
Best thing that came home with me is a small cross slide vise for my drill press. It has an X and Y axis with crank handles to exactly center a part. A ''poor man's'' mill.

It's an hour and 20 minutes for me-Try to go with a buddy and one of us drives, the other pays the parking. Using a pedometer, we did most rows and walked 10 miles. There wasn't much on my list, but I did pick up some parts for an old OT Mustang (discounted for the show and no shipping by a good vendor) as well as looked and touched some modifications I was considering. The car corral's more late model now, but there are always some nicely some cars to admire, as well as some OMG's and some projects that are priced as pure gold-or at least pure copper.
Always some stuff for free that I can't resist and a good place to pick up supplies. Hope y'all had fun.

I picked up a dozen or so old car mags for free-out of two boxes of old Street Rodders where some old times from the 50's to 70's-several compilation type mags-and some very funny looking styles of clothing and hair-especially in the 70'ss.

I had wanted to go to Hershey for years. I'm located in Las Vegas. Flew into Pittsburgh and visited relatives, rented a car there drove over from Pitt to Harrisburg pa and visited and stayed with them. It rained biblical proportions drove over and got my umbrella up and pressed on. Cold and wet is ruff on a desert rat like me but I made the best of it. Pretty cool . I felt sorry for the vendors. They would get their stuff uncovered and along another cloud burst would come along. Left with a couple of cool items. great memories, cold and wet feet but mission accomplished. If you are a car guy at all get your buns down there. Just my 2 cents worth.yruhot
