Hot Rods Carpet,rubber mat or nothing at all?

    I personally think carpet or rubber mat are fine, depending on the style of build you have. If you have a more stripped down, spartan build or style, then rubber mat is perfectly acceptable. Or if you use your vehicle for utility purposes, ie a pickup that actually gets used to haul stuff. But if you're going for a finished look, then it must have carpet. In 99.9% of builds, bare floors are not acceptable in my opinion.

    rubber mats suit ommercials and roadsters anything that might get wet or mucky

    Rubber mat in my hotrod....and all my other cars and trucks as well except my 56 victoria....it has carpet.

  5. How about both. I carpeted my roadster and then installed wall to wall rubber mat on the flat part of the floor. Much easier to clean up. P9160086.JPG
