Where in my post do I label HIM a thief? What I posted is a general statement! ****! Who the **** are you, his mommy?

Damn there's a bunch of two faced people in this thread. 5 months ago, everyone wanted to slam a guy who had found a few cars in a field. Bunch of ****in' hypocrites.

THIEF: A ****up who TAKES something that is NOT his or hers.

IF he takes the cars he IS a ****in' thief. Get it?

  6. Go to the Forestry and ask permission to pick up trash in the area . Maybe for a couple of weekends . Just don't specific about what trash

You said you were damn near up in Canada, right? Like, wayyyy out of the way? Just how often do the Fisheries and Wildlife guys go through there?

Get a trailer with a winch, and go at night. Winch that ***** up onto the trailer, throw a $20 Wal-mart car cover over it, and haul *** home. The cars have been there for decades. Soon the forest will swallow them up, and nobody will know the difference.

Some of you guys are wayyy too up tight about this. He's not asking if it's cool to steal something out of someone's back yard. To me, this is no different than picking up old tin cans and trash while you're camping out in the woods. You didn't put those rusty tin cans there, but you'd grab them and dipsose of them if you found them, right? Or would you leave the trash there, because it's "part of the natural scenery"?

Funny the guy who asked for opinions slamming anyone who's opinion doesn't give him what he wants.

You asked for opinions, here's mine:

Ask first. I do a lot of off-roading, and we p*** old mining camps, great depression hobos' campsites, and lots of indian ruins. Many, if not most, of those sites are archeological sites and are specifically being protected as they are. You can get arrested for taking a tin can from one of those specific sites. Many others are not protected, and you can take whatever the hell you want from them.

Check first, because you may just be taking a piece of junk that they're happy to be rid of, but you may also be damaging a site that has historical importance.

Hey, you started this thread by asking something that you could have gotten the answer to very easily by calling your state and asking what your rights would have been to remove abandoned property. That's what a smart person would have done. Instead, you are obviously looking for favorable opionions to justify what you probably already plan to do, which is take the stuff without permission or STEAL.

Man up and do what YOU want, but don't come looking for approval on a website, because when you do, you open up for opinions and views which may or may not be to your liking.

As for caring for what I think, that's your opinion and your en***led. You labeling me a "sack of sh*t" will cost me no sleep and kinda makes you come off as a *****. Have a nice one.

  13. Cool pics. I love that kind of Shiite.

  14. im not slamming everyone whose opinion that i dont like. im no ****in thief, and that is very rude to say. so i fired back. big deal. i didnt start the thread asking should i take these cars. I AM going to get these cars, whether i have to buy them or what. I just wanted opinions on how to go about it. thats all. Im 19 years old, and was not sure about how to go about getting them, due to the fact that i dont want to steal them, so i figured i would ask guys who i thought would know. i just dont like to get called names. and indirectly i was being called a thief. sorry for the drama guys

Sounds like a far cry from being a theif to me. I'd just go get them. No big moral arguement from me. I'm probably not the only guy that is a little jealous, but I am happy for you man.
I can't believe someone would talk about someone stealing something out of their garage and compare it to you taking a rusty old car off of state land.
If you ask about those cars, you won't get them, but some ***hole will. A relative of a State employee or some such ****. Go to a metal detecting forum and ask them what they think. Either get them or don't say a thing.
Maybe they'd be happier if you went out there and shot em' up with a .22 all day?
Go get em' and don't sweat the little ****. Later dude and good luck.

PS How about a bigger picture of your avatar? :)

From the looks of the sign on the door, you should be asking "Ken Holt"!:)
Seriously, if the **** is not on private property, Has trees growing up thru the floorboards, and ten generations of mice have been living in the ****ing thing, apologize to the mice, kick 'em the hell out, and save 'em from the next developer that will crush the **** out of 'em.
If you need a note, maybe we can get the nice gentleman from Houston to write you one! Geeeezussssss!

  18. tfeverfred needs to pull that **** out of his ***

  19. Well here i am back (the ***hole from page two who just wants them for himself) I was being sarcastic. But you can think whatever the **** you want because youre the one that has to live with your thoughts:p OldWolf

there is significant difference between historic ghost towns, mining camps, and archelogical sites

    and

    blm, national forest land

    ya I'm an eastie now

but for those who never lived in the NORTHERN rockies

    you'll never get it

  22. I,m a metal detectorist as well as a bottle digger and frequent a number of treasure hunting websites. This topic comes up now and then in regards to taking stuff from different sites.BIG TABOO on anything other than privately owned land. Big fines, loss of vehicles and jail time is the result of removing stuff without permission.Especially sites with historical significance. Apparently the Bureau of Land Management has no sense of humour when it comes to this and usually you get to explain what you are doing to a know it all pencil pushing ****. Jail is usually the end result. If it was up here on crown land I,d be after it myself but thats my decision.Down in the states I,d be vary wary of taking what I didn,t have permission to.....

  23. sorry old wolf. had no idea you were being sarcastic. i take it back. I agree with you 31whitey, i lived in south jersey a good portion of my life and it really is not the same as here. completely different. I have heard the things about it being historical treasure, thats why when loggers go to survey land they are about to log they always destroy them and throw them in a burn piles along with any old building within the area they want to log. if the dont, dept of lands can come in and tell them that they cant log with in a certain radius of where these things are. its retarded

LOL MORE drama. Dude, why don't you just get off your *** and go get the stuff and stop looking for validation? **** or get off the damn pot! Did you say you were nine or nineteen? From that pic, it already looks like you've made up your mind, anyway.

There are over 4 pages of people telling you who to call for info or how to STEAL it. Either make the call or go get the **** or don't get it. Stop acting like a little ***** and man up.

I implied nothing in his direction. I stated a general fact, but what do YOU call someone who takes something that doesn't belong to him or her? Regardless of what it is or how long it's been sitting in the woods or how you twist it around. It isn't his. If he takes it without permission that's stealing. Seems rather simple to to me.
